B.E. HAZPURGE II-D CCTV SYSTEM

 The Hazpurge II-D Class I, Div. I and Class I, Div. II PTZ Systems are designed to provide Pan/Tilt/Zoom Camera Monitoring in NFPA Class I, Div. I and Class I, Div. II hazardous areas utilizing "X" and "Z" purging techniques per NFPA 496-93 edition.

A high resolution image sensor with a 10 to 1 zoom lens is mounted in the all PVC enclosure on a remote controlled pan/tilt device. A digital decoder in the pan/tilt housing converts RS-422 commands to electrical PTZ signals.

The closed loop purge path includes control enclosure, SS braided Teflon, hose/conduit, pan/tilt device, camera enclosure and return tubing.

In the event of loss of "purge" the following occurs:

  • Div. I (X Purge): Power is automatically removed from the system.
  • Div. II (Z Purge): The message "Lost Pressure" flashes on the monitor screen.
